What’s the opportunity?
We’re looking for BDRs who combine creativity with a bias for action to cut through the noise, stand out from the crowd, and help us establish a world class partner ecosystem by prospecting for referral partners who will align with Rocketlane’s mission while collaborating with our direct sales team.
What will I be doing?
- Prospect for potential referral partners via email, cold calls, and LinkedIn to schedule conversations for Rocketlane’s Partnership Team.
- Create outbound sequencing plans with appropriate messaging that will lead to a conversation or improved brand recall of Rocketlane with prospective Referral Partners(we use OutPlayhq for outbound, which is a lot like Outreach)
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals for emails and outbound calls, as well as achieve targets for meetings set and meetings created
- Discover alignment in prospect conversations, with the ability to understand the implications to determine a fit for Rocketlane and/or fine-tune successful messaging
- Work alongside the Partner Team to strategize messaging and activity for targeted partners.
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a ‘bias for action’ mentality to establish an outreach rhythm based on tailored messaging and live engagement (phone calls)
- Maintain data accuracy and hygiene on the internal sales systems at all times
What skills and experience do I need?
- Experience in the SaaS industry desired but not required
- Prior experience with HubSpot is a plus
- 1-2 years or greater sales experience
