Overview
Instawork is moving one step closer to achieving our vision to create economic opportunity for local businesses and professionals by connecting them for permanent hiring needs. To support our ambitious growth goal, we are seeking an Account Executive. Reporting to the GM of Instawork Hiring, this role serves as a critical team member of the Hiring GTM team. You will be responsible for establishing a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospects. Sales experience with subscription or recurring revenue products, ideally in the HR tech or recruiting space, is highly preferred. This is a results-driven position that requires a track record of success and consistently exceeding quota.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospective Partners. Execute the sales strategy for our B2B hiring marketplace by reaching out to executives and key decision makers.
- Utilize a consulting sales process to demonstrate how Instawork is a faster and cost-effective solution compared to competitors
- Ensure a top-notch first experience with Instawork and obsess over expanding the account in the first months as a customer
- Strategically work an assigned account list focusing on net new client acquisition, closing new business over the phone and in-person by delivering tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Conduct field prospecting activities, including visiting potential clientsβ businesses, attending industry events, and networking to uncover new sales opportunities
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Operations teams to drive revenue growth with new customers
- Provide actionable product feedback to help iterate our product offerings and GTM strategy.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in selling with a focus on net-new business/logo acquisition. Previous SaaS experience is a plus.
- Full sales-cycle management skills, from prospecting to close. A track record of success and consistently exceeding quota
- Competitive mentality with an innate desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
- You follow a sales process and methodology (Solutions selling, Challenger, or other)
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo
- Preferred but not required: You have successfully sold to Human Resources and Recruiting organizations.
For CA based applicants:
- The base salary for this position is $70,000 eligible OTE for total of $140k and uncapped commissions
