Regional Sales Manager - North Texas
The Regional Sales Manager – North Texas region, serves as the front-line business leader, communicator, and facilitator of the KDP Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales (CASO) Team, managing the strategic direction of our aligned business through our Coca-Cola bottler and distributor network while executing key business building initiatives to achieve assigned volume, revenue, share, and profit targets.
Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, this Regional Sales Manager will represent Dr Pepper brands that are licensed within the Coca-Cola aligned distribution areas in the assigned region. Bottler business development accountabilities include three primary channels of trade: Large Store, Small Store and Food Service On Premise.
You will be required to travel approximately up to 60% of the time within Bottler and Trade locations. For this posting, the CASO North Texas Region responsibility includes west Texas (Amarillo, Lubbock, El Paso, Odessa), east Texas (Paris, Tyler, Texarkana), New Mexico Mainstream bottlers and surrounding territories. The position is home-based, and you will live within the territory.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned regional sales territory with responsibility for sales growth and market execution within the North Market Unit where KDP products (primarily Dr Pepper) are distributed by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages as well as Mainstream bottlers in New Mexico.
- Align system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and trade / T&E budgets.
- Lead the development and implementation of annual joint business plans that support the aligned strategic business objectives of Dr Pepper and Bottlers.
- Interface with bottler Key Account Executives and KDP National Account Teams to improve retail account penetration for Dr Pepper products distributed by Bottler and advance trade execution to gain fair share of retail. Cultivate productive working relationships with these key bottler and trade contacts.
- Work cross-functionally with other Regions, Divisions, Bottler Activation Manager, Commercial Planning, KDP National & Regional Account Teams and assigned Bottler to deliver customer-specific business solutions.
- Responsibly support the management of local resources within Bottler contractual disciplines including initiating local business plans to support KPI objectives.
- Ensure execution of national marketing programs and NRS ad schedules to drive inclusion to bottler aligned programs and business plans.
- Use internal and external data sources for performance analysis and reporting.
- Invest time in the trade with bottler management and sales teams. Facilitate proper execution of sales plans in the marketplace; solve operational or executional issues with customers or bottlers.
- Ensure Route-to-Market compliance by increasing distribution on brands and packages and solidifying execution for channel and new account opportunity.

Requirements:
- Minimum three years of related consumer products experience, beverage experience preferred
- Previous Supplier, Bottler, Distributor or Commercial Retail Account experience
- Computer proficiency (MS Office; Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Previous experience with Syndicated Data including IRI or AC Nielsen information
- Valid driver’s license
