The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Large Group Sr. Benefits Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Senior Consultant on renewal completion for all assigned clients
- Complete proposal review for accuracy prior to renewal meeting
- Participate in and assist in oversite of compliance (1094/1095, PCORI, etc.), wellness and DOL audits for assigned clients
- Complete power point presentations prior to open enrollment meeting
- Conduct open enrollment meetings and present detailed reporting after every enrollment
- Responsible for keeping on track with service calendar and compliance tracker
- Handle escalated issues and provide direct support for client until resolution
- Responsible for installation of Navigator
- Keep current with industry regulations and legal issues
- Participate in industry meetings for the purpose of continuing education to increase knowledge and/or obtain industry designations
- Some travel required, including overnight travel
- Must be willing to conduct meetings after hours, as requested by clients
- Provide detailed reporting to advisor for all client meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred.
- L&H licensed
- Five plus years of experience working in carrier or broker related environment.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple clients.
- Detail oriented, resourceful – strong decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication – communication written up after every renewal meeting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Travel and overtime may be required to fulfill the requirements of this position.
