The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing new and renewal commercial lines business.
- Preparing Acord applications.
- Working with underwriters to obtain quotes.
- Preparing proposals.
- Servicing clients assigned by alphabet. This includes checking issued policies against applications and proposals, requesting and processing endorsements, issuing binders, invoicing, issuing certificates, taking claims, and handling any other needs of clients.
- Contributing to a positive workplace environment
- Ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Prefer a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Property and Casualty account management in an independent agency servicing Commercial Lines clients.
- A Texas General Lines Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to analyze and understand insurance policies.
