About the role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of Teleskope to our customers. Straddling pre- and post-sales, you will sit between our growth team and our engineering team, supporting deployments, leading customer proof-of-concepts and owning customer success while serving as the front line technical support for our customers.
What you’ll do
- Support sales team in closing POCs from scoping and deployment through sales closes
- Design, manage, and execute the technical onboarding and integration for new customers in collaboration with an SRE or Infrastructure Engineer
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance to address customers' business goals, needs, and pain points with a priority to onboarding and roll out planning
- Handle technical questions and objections, providing solutions to ensure Teleskope delivers maximum value to our customers
- Help drive the product roadmap as you bring the voice of your customers into planning meetings to describe inhibiting issues, objects, or lacking features to the product team
- Close subscription renewals and upsells, in collaboration with Account Executives
About you
- 3+ years supporting enterprise customers as a Customer Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer
- Ability to identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Experience mapping technical environments and discovering technical, security, and process requirements
- Comfortable with conducting product deep dives for a variety of personas, from senior engineering leaders to individual contributors
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud deployment models (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to build relationships with and earn the trust of Teleskope’s customers
- BS/BA in Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent work experience
- Must be based in NYC (we work hybrid)
