POSITION OVERVIEW
The Atlanta Dream are seeking a coachable, competitive, collaborative, and motivated Sales Associate to join the inaugural class of Members of The Atlanta Dream Sales Academy. The Sales Associate will be responsible for maximizing ticket revenue for The Dream through the sale of Full and Half Season Memberships, Partial Season Memberships, Group Tickets, and Premium Seating/Corporate Hospitality.
Revenue goals will be set for the Sales Associate and tracked with regular meetings with the Sr. Manager, Ticket Sales and Service. The Sales Associate position is a fantastic opportunity to begin your sales career in the sports industry with an organization committed to professional and career development. This is a one year contracted role in which you will be trained, developed, and provided the opportunity to obtain full-time employment at the end of your contracted time.
The Sales Associate has a heavy outbound focus with emphasis on prospecting and networking with key business influencers in the Atlanta Metro area to drive new business revenue. Revenue will be generated via phone (outbound and inbound calls), text, e-mail and face-to-face meetings. The successful candidate will be an outgoing self-starter with excellent communication skills, willing to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment, have outstanding attention to detail, and a person that takes great pride in his or her work, regardless of the task, to help achieve individual and team goals. The successful candidate will have a burning desire to be the absolute best individually and as a team and will be the ultimate team player.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Generate ticket revenue using all sales methods, including face to face appointments, cold calls, arena, prospecting, and networking.
- Sell new Full and Half Season Memberships, Partial Season memberships, Group Tickets, and
Premium Inventory
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Proactively seek new leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting businesses
- Invite and host qualified prospects to prescheduled sales events
- Attend networking events in the community to generate new business prospects
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects within our CRMsystem
- Relentlessly communicate with prospective ticket buyers and ask questions about their interests in order to strengthen the impact of our CRM solution and increase sales conversions over time
- Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients at all times
- Consistently and proactively build your pipeline
- Active involvement in the community to continually build your sales funnel
- Manage relationships with various accounts to exceed established sales goals; Conduct high amounts of new business meetings and outreach daily
- Plan, develop, and execute strategic group sales promotions and theme nights by creating a unique offer and targeted sales campaign to a specific niche group or community.
- Perform βgame dayβ responsibilities, including entertaining clients and prospects, as well as working ticket sales tables
- Provide sales reports and contact status back to management on a daily and weekly basis during Goal Setting Meetings
