What You can expect in a Junior Account Executive at Hiveclass
- You will develop relationships and sales opportunities through inbound and outbound business development functions.
- You will take initiative to develop your own sales opportunities and to continue improving sales motions to help the Growth Team reach its goals.
- You will manage a client relationship management system to support the effectiveness of the full team.
- You will support a passionate team of Sales and Client Success professionals to ensure the company reaches its revenue and impact goals.
- You will own portions of Revenue Operations flywheel to ensure deals reach the end goal of securing new client partnerships and subsequent effective long-term partnerships.
- You will provide effective, timely and helpful communications to prospective clients and clients alike.
- You will collaborate with Hiveclass team members to help further the company’s growth.
- You will take charge of your own professional learning and growth so you can continue to make a lasting impact.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 1-3 years of Sales or Business Development Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into the Education market is a plus!
- Passion for networking, making connections and building relationships for the company
- Excellent process orientation and management of CRM, contracts and sales documents.
- Demonstrated independence in managing sales functions and expertly delivering services
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly growing startup company
Who You Will Work With
The Junior Account Executive will collaborate with other Growth Team members focused on Sales and Marketing. You will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer, whose values-based leadership is committed to your success, professional growth and positive contributions to the company’s mission. You will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate across the company to expand your impact and connections within Hiveclass.
Where You Will Work
The Junior Account Executive is a remote role with the expectation that you will travel to trade shows, conferences and events to develop new business opportunities. We estimate that as an AE, you will initially travel 20-40% of the time.
As a remote worker, you have the option to work from your own space, where every day is bring your dog (or preferred pet) to work day. When you are not traveling for exciting business development functions, you will have the freedom to create your own work environment - but with this comes high performance and work-product expectations.
