About the role
The Client Services Specialist I (CSS I) is responsible for processing customer order requests, taking customer calls, maintaining company databases and is responsible for interacting with various internal departments and operations to facilitate services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrate an ability to understand and build the foundational knowledge required to be successful within the waste industry
- Show curiosity and eagerness to learn higher level concepts
- Funnel customer calls and transfer them to the appropriate department(s)
- Monitor and manage general service e-mail account(s)
- Enter sales orders and other key data into company database(s)
- Track and monitor any outstanding sales order related issues such as missing pricing, expired approvals, etc.
- Assist with customer schedules as communicated by Central Facility Schedulers
- Report daily on outstanding items to key personnel
- Communicate as needed with customers, customer service, sales, and operations regarding customer sales orders
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in data management
- Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Maintain all regulatory related training
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment
- Strong data management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Excellent communication skills (including email and phone)
- Ability to maintain customer and company confidentiality
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
