As a Sales Engineer at testRigor, you’ll be an integral part of the Sales and Marketing Teams, helping the sales team close business and expand the testRigor footprint in the automation space, while also helping the Marketing team as needed. You will work closely with the Sales team to understand customer pain-points and how to limit or remove them, while leveraging the various testRigor functionalities. Sales Engineer will also work closely with the support team to help troubleshoot and find bugs.
Responsibilities
- Become Subject Matter Expert of the testRigor product
- Perform general technical demonstrations of testRigor including integrations
- Help troubleshoot prospect issues during the Proof of Concept process
- Work with support to help troubleshoot and onboard prospects
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on projects
- Perform high-quality and technically focused personalized demonstrations when needed
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations with potential prospects
- Use professionalism in phone, email, chat, or any other internal or external communication
- Continually work to improve oneself both personally and professionally
- Embody and uphold company culture both internally and externally
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical sales engineering role, preferably within the SaaS or software testing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and relatable way.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to driving results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to new challenges quickly.
- The ability to be coachable and to learn and apply things quickly
- Knowledge of the test automation space
