What we need:
The Sales Operations Manager is a leading performer that is responsible for overseeing key programs and projects related to the Sales function, including process improvement, and customer engagement. This role will collaborate closely with Sales leadership to develop sales programs, planning, reporting, and guidance to ensure the Sales team operates efficiently and effectively.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic programs and initiatives to improve Sales Operations, streamline processes, and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with Sales teams, internal departments, and external service providers to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Lead the development and management of sales, inventory, and other operational programs to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide advanced sales reporting, metrics, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
- Analyze internal and external data on sales, marketing, and merchandising activities to recommend actionable insights and strategies to Sales leadership.
- Ensure customer compliance programs are effectively monitored, and objectives are achieved to mitigate financial risks and improve outcomes.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the Sales Support function, recommending enhancements to streamline operations.
- Work directly with external customers and internal teams to provide accurate sales data, forecasts, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Support Sales teams in creating impactful sales proposals and presentations by providing relevant data and collaborating on content development.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
What you’re good at:
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
- Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
What else?
- Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advise and direction to junior team members.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
