Job Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic VP or Director of Sales to join our fast-growing, innovative healthcare SaaS company. In this high-impact role, you will lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and help maintain our market leadership. As a company recently funded through Series B, we’re expanding rapidly, and we need a strategic leader to build and execute on aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Oversee the direct sales department, driving team performance and aligning sales strategies with business objectives.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and optimize pipelines and metrics through HubSpot to ensure team members meet and exceed sales goals.
- Team Development: Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities across the customer lifecycle, including new business, upsell, and cross-sell strategies, to maximize revenue.
- Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with high-value clients and personally manage select large accounts to drive growth.
- Strategic Planning: Set and track sales quotas, report on key performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively address sales issues, ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations.
- Additional Duties: Support the executive team in strategic decisions, represent the company at industry events, and assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 10 years in sales, with 5+ years in healthcare or dental SaaS sales and a history of success in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead sales teams in high-growth environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Performance-Driven: Strong goal orientation with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed for client meetings and company events.
- Healthcare SaaS: Experience with healthcare software and service sales; dental industry experience is a strong plus.
- Start-Up Mentality: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment and able to adapt to new challenges quickly.
