Job Title: Account Executive – Freight Forwarding

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in the fast-paced freight forwarding industry. Based in Atlanta, this role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional logistics solutions tailored to customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international logistics, supply chain management, and freight forwarding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of client accounts within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Provide clients with tailored freight forwarding solutions, including air, ocean, and ground transportation options.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments and services.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with clients and vendors.
- Monitor account performance and ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-up and problem resolution.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in sales or account management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, international shipping regulations, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software; knowledge of logistics software is a plus.
