Job Scope:
The Vascular Account Manager promotes, sells, and services the company’s products directly to vascular specialists within an assigned geographic area while demonstrating alignment with Endologix’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Possesses superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products, their clinical application, indications, contraindications, implant techniques and procedural troubleshooting. Instructs new users and their staff on the use of the products in an in-vitro environment.
- Utilizes a clinical sales approach to educate physicians and staff on vascular therapies from Endologix and obtain their commitment to use company products. Meets with assigned group of physicians and physician’s staff on a consistent basis to promote and detail products and services, relate new product information and receive feedback on the company’s products and services.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers, at all levels of the hospital, to educate on vascular disease and treatment approaches. Utilizes market development techniques to grow awareness and understanding of vascular disease throughout the healthcare community. Connects physicians in different markets to increase awareness and understanding of currently available data and techniques to treat patients in the most effective way.

- Participates in clinical meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows when designated.
- Understands and supports the company’s policies and procedures as it pertains to product complaint handling and required regulatory reporting.
- Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas established by company.
- Follows corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations.
- Collects and reports competitive information to Marketing.
- Prepares periodic reports including weekly call reports, weekly expense reports, periodic general reports, and other reports as assigned.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales proposals/contracts for orders obtained and perspective orders.
- Other responsibilities assigned as needed outside the scope of this list, with any special instructions issued at the time of assignment, as required.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience:
- Five years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Knowledge of medical industry, preferably regarding vascular disease, treatment protocols, and competitive market
- Understanding of regulatory environment, including FDA requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to make connections, build relationships, and establish trust with key stakeholders.
- Ability to confidently explain and demonstrate product lines
- Must have a proven track record in sales, including an ability to generate strong leads, nurture client relationships, close deals, and maintain customer satisfaction
