The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Shelby Township, MI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal lines insurance policies (home, auto, umbrella, flood, etc.)
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverages
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure accurate policy placement and underwriting practices
- Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling to enhance client coverage and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Michigan P&C License
- 3 years or more of personal account manager experience
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Personal Lines experience a plus
