Skye’s the Limit and Emaline are currently seeking a motivated Associate Account Executive to manage, develop, and grow sales in Specialty stores, Club stores, Off Price accounts and others across both brands.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead market appointments by presenting the collection to current and prospective accounts.
- Cultivate relationships with existing accounts and identify potential retailers, markets, and/or regions with new untapped business potential.
- Manage account projections for initial bookings and re-orders.
- Act as a brand ambassador both in the field and in the showroom.
- Sales responsibilities include Sales tools, Catalog Mailer and You Tube videos.
- Understand and react to sales trends and opportunities.
- Travel and self-manage sales lines at regional shows.
- Responsible for order entry and order maintenance of specialty orders.
Minimum requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant wholesale experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Ideally have established relationships in the women’s apparel channel that can be potential accounts.
Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment collaborating on key sales strategies.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of retail math.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of key markets.
- Proficient in MS applications including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Social media experience with Facebook, Instagram and more is a plus.
- Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
