About Pair Team
Pair Team is on a mission to connect underserved communities to high quality care as a tech-enabled medical group focused on high-risk Medicaid and Duals patients. Their novel whole-person care model - social, clinical, behavioral - is quarterbacked by a multidisciplinary care team across their network of shelters, food pantries, and other community partners leveraging Arc, their proprietary care management platform. Pair Team is one of the largest providers of a high-needs case management benefit in California and on track to build the country's largest clinically-integrated network of community-based organizations. They have demonstrated an ability to engage a hard to reach patient population and address gaps in care, including a 56% reduction in ED visits and a 26% reduction in hospital admissions.
About the Opportunity
As a Senior Partnerships Manager, you’ll ensure our external partners successfully launch and sustain high-impact programs. This role will oversee both implementation and ongoing performance management, making sure partners meet key milestones, achieve their goals, and drive measurable impact over time.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to scale implementation efficiently and ensure partners see value as quickly as possible, directly contributing to the company’s growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and knows how to turn relationships into measurable results.
This is a mostly remote position with some on-site work with California-based partners to ensure smooth implementations and launches. This role is reporting up to the VP of Partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex implementation efforts for partnerships, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and achievement of key performance metrics.
- Develop and manage structured implementation plans that align external partners with organizational goals and operational workflows.
- Own and track performance metrics for external partners, providing data-driven insights and holding partners accountable to agreed-upon KPIs.
- Serve as a key liaison between external partnerships and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges in real time, identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Sales, and Business Operations teams to ensure alignment between partner needs and company objectives.
- Support limited-time pilots by ensuring clear validation metrics and structured feedback loops.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in partnership development, implementation, program management, or a related operational role, ideally in healthcare, social services, or a similar business.
- Highly autonomous and solutions-oriented, able to proactively identify challenges and implement structured, data-driven solutions with minimal oversight.
- Data and KPI-driven mindset, with experience setting, tracking, and optimizing performance against key metrics.
- Exceptional project management skills, including experience managing multiple complex implementations simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and external relationship management skills, with the ability to be direct while maintaining positive partnerships.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in operational environments.
- Strong desire to work in an early stage startup environment that is fast paced, complex, and has minimal barriers to make decisions (no “red tape”)
