We are seeking Sales Account Directors in New York City to join our sales team to optimize revenue opportunities, and drive a high-performance culture.
As a Sales Account Director, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers while strategically managing and expanding existing accounts. This hybrid role combines the skills of an Account Executive (new business development) and an Account Manager (relationship management and upselling) to maximize revenue potential across our customer base. This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under RealSelf’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual compensation includes base pay plus incentive earnings under RealSelf’s Sales Compensation Plan, with potential for above-target rewards.
Sales Execution Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to drive new customer acquisition, upsells, and renewals, ensuring revenue growth.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, leveraging data-driven insights to identify high-potential opportunities.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities (new logos) while expanding relationships within existing accounts (upsell/cross-sell).
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to refine positioning and sales tactics.
Account Management Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of aesthetic practices, including top plastic surgeons and fast-growing medical spas, delivering insights to enhance their advertising performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with key decision-makers to drive retention and revenue expansion.
- Conduct business reviews to showcase advertising impact, analyze performance trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities within accounts, ensuring clients maximize the value of our platform.
Strategic Growth & Optimization Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data-driven sales playbooks that integrate market intelligence and performance analytics to accelerate revenue growth.
- Provide customer insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and value proposition refinement.
- Continuously optimize sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance productivity and consistency across the team.

Requirements:
- You are located in New York City.
- 5+ years of experience in driving revenue, preferably in digital advertising, SaaS, or media sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to analyze data and make informed sales decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in the aesthetics, beauty, or healthcare industry is a plus.
