JOB SUMMARY
The Customer Service Rep. will provide support for the Customer Service Department and Inside Sales team. The Customer Service Rep. will have a key role in maintaining our reputation for superior customer service.
REPORTING TO
Customer Service Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Input customer purchase orders and maintain quote log as needed.
- Verify customer orders to ensure accuracy.
- Track shop orders in response to customer inquiries regarding their orders, as needed.
- Maintain complete and accurate customer quotes in Visual
- Assist in answering and routing incoming calls.
- Maintain customer accounts to reflect accurate shipping addresses, shipping costs, and other pertinent information.
- Complete any special projects assigned by the manager.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Prior experience on an ERP system.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in a manufacturing sales environment
Physical Requirements:
Sit for long periods of time. Regularly communicate via telephone and email.
