Job Summary:
Case Status is currently hiring an Account Executive to join the sales team. The Account Executive must have an understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
The Case Status Sales team inspires collaboration with a goal to work towards a common objective. We are very metrics driven and hold ourselves to a high level of accountability. While we work hard to meet our goals, we also work hard to have fun.
As an Account Executive, you will report to our VP of Sales, Mid Market and will have direct access to company resources needed to close business. This Account Executive will work to land and expand Case Status's footprint in the small to medium size law firm segment. Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in service categories offered;
- Manage and optimize current client accounts while proactively engaging to secure renewal and upsell opportunities;
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct presentations and relay objection handling;
- Work hand in hand with the SDR team ensuring meetings set advance to meetings attended as scheduled;
- Attend conferences located around the country to develop brand recognition and new leads;
- Research and evaluate businesses to identify decision-makers and understand client needs;
- Prepare professional, concise and accurate reports, proposals and other documentation as required for presentations;
- Interact and engage with cross-functionally internal teams including implementation, client success and development;
- Work with Customer Success team to ensure account adoption and maturity are realized;
- Utilize Hubspot to ensure standard processes during all sales stages;
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication;
- Negotiate contracts; close deals, meet quotas.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in a full cycle sales role, SaaS preferred;
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred;
- Experience working in a CRM (Hubspot proficiency is a plus);
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to think strategically;
- A track record of attention to detail and propensity for critical thinking;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone skills, video conferencing skills;
- Positive attitude, solutions driven;
- Demonstrated effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Grit;
- You have a hunter’s mentality with a history of quota overachievement/Consistent track record of hitting goal and numbers;
- You have proven ability to engage both high and wide in accounts and can effectively pursue law firm partners and law office managers;
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
- Willingness to learn the Case Status platform in order to be able to explain it thoroughly;
- Energetic, ambitious, and passionate; pioneering a growing and successful team;
- SaaS sales training and experience preferred;
- Proven success in closing deals;
- Possess an understanding of SaaS financial metrics;
- Willingness to learn in a high-paced sales environment;
- Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable;
- The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations.
A Day in the Life
- You will network in your assigned territory to build relevancy;
- Manage current client needs and identify champions who will be a resource for referral and reference;
- Travel for conference attendance is to be expected (may include weekends);
- You work with Sales Development Representatives to discuss and strategize methods to penetrate new prospect accounts with the goal of setting quality meetings;
- You work closely with our Marketing team to execute on personalized outreach campaigns;
- You attend 1:1’s, team meetings, trainings, sales calls, discovery calls, demos, etc. to develop your skills;
- You’re self-disciplined, accountable, and reliable.
Location:
Case Status is based in Park Circle in North Charleston, SC. The candidate must be local and on-site.
