Role Overview: The Senior Account Executive role demands a Sales Hunter mentality, primarily focusing on generating new customer relationships within the New England market and maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships within their territory.
Key Responsibilities Include/Not Limited To:
- Drive sales of UCAAS, Cyber Security, and Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) offerings.
- Service existing clients while cultivating new customer relationships.
- Achieve or surpass assigned annual quota (typically between $750k - $1M).
- Engage in business development and demand generation activities to foster customer growth.
- Conduct thorough research on accounts/prospects to understand their business/organization.
- Represent Harbor Networks with professionalism and high ethical standards.
- Foster relationships with core manufacturer representatives and multiple decision-makers within client accounts, especially at the C-suite level.
- Effectively communicate Harbor Networks' value proposition to key stakeholders.
- Introduce Harbor Networks' subject matter experts to key stakeholders.
- Utilize the company’s CRM tool (ConnectWise) and prospecting tools as directed by sales management.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts.
- Establish a personal brand within the territory.
- Demonstrate the ability to grow business from scratch.
- Conduct cold calling within the assigned territory/market to uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop and sell Harbor Networks solutions.
- Work with pre-sales teams to develop proposals and statements of work.
- Accurately forecast business using the company's CRM tool.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attending and facilitating relevant marketing events.
- Participate in company-facilitated trainings and business meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications and requirements for this role include:
- 2+ years of solution-based selling experience.
- Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts.
- Proven success in selling technology or related projects in a territory-based assignment.
- Understanding of key technology solutions such as Extreme Networks, Ruckus Wi-Fi Cloud voice solutions, and Cyber Security products.
- Knowledge of UCaaS platforms and their benefits.
- Demonstrated experience in a Sales Hunter role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Resilience and personal drive to succeed.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong communication, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
- Clean driving record and access to reliable transportation.
