We are hiring for an Account Executive to lead our outbound sales motion at Mathpix. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with clients. This role will be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area with flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Create new sales opportunities
- Establish/document a repeatable model for closing outbound sales for all customer segments
- Establish/document a repeatable model for closing inbound leads for all customer segments
- Create sales materials (decks, etc)
- Close sales new business and develop industry partnerships
- Lead demo calls for customers
Qualifications
- Sales, Negotiation, and Relationship Management skills
- Experience in B2B sales and account management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of AI, productivity tools, and technology solutions
- 3+ years of experience in this role
- 1+ year of experience at technology company preferred
- Experience selling software and familiarity with our kind of tech (or at least aptitude to learn it inside & out)
