Job Opportunity: Account Executive - SLED Sales Team
Are you an experienced SaaS Account Executive with a keen understanding of OSINT tools and technology? Skopenow is seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to spearhead our efforts in prospecting and engaging with the state and local government. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, managing the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation, and building strong relationships within the SLED landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect into the state and local government and education market to identify and qualify potential leads with a strong emphasis on law enforcement, public safety, and intelligence departments
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including outreach, discovery, product demos (with support from a Solutions Engineer), proposal creation, and contract negotiation
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful product adoption, implementation, and onboarding of new clients
- Travel up to 20% of the time to meet with customers, attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote product awareness and identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies to understand their needs and challenges
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
Requirements:
- Proven SaaS sales track record closing 5-7 figure deals within the SLED landscape
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and contracting
- Experience with end-to-end sales, from prospecting to closing deals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment with limited resources and navigate through challenges
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a hunter mentality
Stand out by having:
- A proven track record in OSINT/Investigative SaaS sales
- Direct experience in law enforcement and/or investigations
