The Position:
TE is seeking a seasoned and experienced Senior Director of Global Sales to serve as a senior global commercial leader within the Industrial, Medical, Sensing Technologies (IMS) business. In an environment where TE is ready to pursue their next phase of growth, the Senior Director will be responsible for the transformational sales leadership and management of revenue growth for the businesses, enhancing the sales function and scaling the business. The Senior Director oversees a international sales organization with customer in the Americas, EMEA and APAC. The Senior Director develops sales goals including sales volume, cost of sales, and product profitability and ensures that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization’s long-range strategic objectives. S/he also creates pricing strategies and sales campaigns with marketing executives.
Preferred Location is the US, could be Remote with travel as needed. We are open as well for highly qualified candidates from Europe
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational direction to the IMS businesses’ global sales operations function to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Serve as a member of senior management team in setting strategic direction of the business unit.
- Drive consistency across regions and sub-regions of the business.
- Expand use of channel distribution and demand creation.
- Assist in sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices/discounts with sales directors.
- Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals.
- Create a standardized outreach for current and future clients and coordinate its implementation across sales channels, client management, and participate in defining marketing and communications.
- Manage sales team activities to ensure consistent quota planning, maximizing and maintaining a strong pipeline.
- Drive best-in-class customer care which maximizes customer satisfaction and customer retention.
- Leverage customer research to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning.
- Collaborate with other functional leaders, providing constructive feedback on customer needs to ensure competitiveness and provide a clear vision for success.
- Build and upgrade the sales teams and create an inspirational, driven, and operational sales culture to fill management gaps by hiring and training individuals and teams.

- Sales Leadership:
- Experienced executive with 15+ years of Sales and Product Management experience
- Demand planning and sales operations in a B2B environment
- Proven success as a sales leader of a business with responsibility for delivering $x00M+ in large, cross-functional, globally distributed organization.
- Ability to identify market trends and forecasting as well as implement sales strategy to grow revenue and market share.
- Relevant Industry Knowledge:
- Proven expertise in the sensors / semiconductors / industrial and medical industries
- Keen understanding of customer base, distribution channels, and the competitive landscape in the focused industry.
- Business Acumen and Growth Driver:
- Strong business, commercial and technical acumen, specifically within the high-tech industry
- Ability to contribute to advancing the business objectives; exceed sales goals but outpace market growth.
- Global Stakeholder Management:
- Experience in managing stakeholders in a global matrix environment
- Strong track record of leading a sizeable team to success, preferably multi-layered worldwide
- Excellent communication skills with ability to nurture strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners within a global and diverse organization

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $220,000 – 320,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
