πΌ Position: Founding Account Executive (SMB)
π Location: San Fran (hybrid - 3 days in office)
π° Compensation: $90K - $150K Base + 50/50 split + competitive Equity
I'm currently partnered with a startup company that provides businesses with a modern platform for managing banking and cash flow, integrating traditional banking services with innovative technology to streamline financial operations and support growth.
Role responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, to drive significant revenue growth
- Develop and implement closing strategies within assigned accounts
- Use proven sales methodologies to uncover and address customer needs and challenges
- Communicate the companyβs unique value proposition through strategic sales qualification
- Track and forecast sales activity and monthly revenue using HubSpot
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to share valuable customer insights
- Deliver highly personalized product demos that speak directly to customer pain points
- Skillfully manage and overcome objections by identifying underlying issues
- Consistently negotiate and close deals, meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Ensure an exceptional, customer-centric experience, guiding the buyer journey end-to-end
- Most importantly, bring your enthusiasm and have fun while making an impact!
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive or in sales, specifically in SaaS or finance sectors, with a proven track record of building relationships, driving revenue, and closing deals
- Passionate about B2B financing
- Experience being in a startup being a founding AE or being part of a founding team/vertical
- Hunter mindset - being able to generate your own leads
- Coming from a fintech background in either Expense Management or Banking
