We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team and help us grow our agency data and Media sales business . Candidates should be results-oriented professionals with experience in sales or business development and an understanding of mobile data and its strategic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle sales role from prospecting to building relationships with the right stakeholders to structuring deals.
- Prospecting and connecting with potential buyers, deploying a discovery strategy and sales narrative designed to drive Programmatic Direct spend.
- Building relationships and driving revenue with assigned holding companies, brands, agencies, agency trading desks (ATDs).
- Working closely with account teams at agencies representing the top 200 global brands to activate programmatic deals and custom audience activations.
- Understand the client’s needs, goals and requirements and create custom solutions to drive real business results.
- Developing deals that help advertisers connect with their target audiences and desired inventory across Start.io’s Supply.
- Providing ‘ground support’ to strategic deals by driving transactional business and consistent deal-based revenue.
- Managing a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce and providing regular reporting on deal progress.
- Collaborate with Start.io’s product team to identify new opportunity for product development and business expansion.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of programmatic advertising experience an advertising agency, brand or other ad tech firm.
- Deep familiarity with ad tech, SSPs, DSPs and the programmatic landscape, as well as with internal org structure at brands, agencies, ATDs and consultancies
- Solid relationships across marketers, agencies and ATDs and/or previous agency experience working closely with ad tech companies (DSP, DMP, Ad Server, etc)
- Strong executive presence and comfortable presenting to clients of all levels
- A consultative, partnership-minded sales approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Highly organized, with experience successfully managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
