About the role
As a Founding Account Executive at Teleskope, you will be at the forefront of our transition to the next phase of our growth, serving as the first dedicated sales hire on what will soon be a large team. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, working closely with prospects to understand their needs and to position our product as the solution. As an early-stage team member, you’ll also have the opportunity to shape sales strategies and processes, and play a critical role in Teleskope’s rapid growth.

What you’ll do
- Work closely with Teleskope’s leadership to quickly develop a deep understanding of our problem space, industry, brand and product
- Lead product demos, catering pitches to each prospective customer and their needs and use cases
- Own the full sales cycle, from sourcing deals and prospecting to qualification, leading product demos, and closing deals
- Collaborate with our Customer Engineering team to support the customer journey from prospect through a proof-of-concept and ultimately to a sale
- Work closely with Sales Development to provide a feedback loop and continually hone our ICP, customer personas and lead generation efforts

While we are open to applicants from all backgrounds and experience sets, we expect that the most successful applicants will have 5+ years of experience in sales at early stage startups, including at least one year working at a cybersecurity, data or infrastructure software company, selling to a technical buyer.
NOTE: This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that you work out of our NYC-based office 3+ days per week.
