We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an entry-level remote position, offering the opportunity to build a career in sales and account management within the biotech industry. You will work closely with a supportive team, leveraging collaboration and communication to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service. Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients, leveraging scientific expertise to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services.
- Present reagents and contract research services effectively, collaborate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets while staying updated on industry trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.
- Travel within the New York area to visit clients, ensuring strong customer relationships and personalized service.
Requirements:
- Previous junior level sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals, preferably involving reagents and contract research services.
- Strong understanding of molecular and cell biology concepts, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for effective engagement with researchers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Bachelorβs or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field preferred.
- Preferably based in or within commutable distance to New York, NY with the ability to travel locally to meet with clients.
