JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Sales, IT Solutions, plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our IT group by leading and managing a team of IT sales professionals. This position is responsible for developing strategies, building and mentoring team members, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in IT assessments, penetration & vulnerability assessments, governance, risk and compliance assessments, and ultimately managed IT services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach and mentor IT sales professionals to develop their skills, build client relationships, and meet performance goals.
- Monitor team performance and provide actionable feedback to ensure consistent improvement and alignment with organizational objectives using Usherwood’s management process.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success and adjust plans as needed.
- Participate with marketing to coordinate educational events for prospective clients within all focused markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related preferred.
- Sales experience required with 3-5 years of sales leadership/management role.
- Knowledge of the managed IT services market, competitive landscape, and relevant IT certifications a plus.
